There are three external papers. Paper 1 and Paper 2 each contribute 25%, while Paper 3 contributes 30%.
Students must develop a research proposal to investigate a topic in relation to a specified population, using a research method covered in class practicals.
Both cover the core concepts, content, and contexts. HL provides greater depth, including four HL extensions (the role of culture, motivation, and technology in shaping behaviour) and complex data analysis (Paper 3).
