Getting Started

  • An Enrollment Coordinator connects with you to answer your questions, help you select the right program, and schedule your student’s weekly sessions.
  • Next, parents are introduced to an Education Manager to discuss learning goals and address any additional concerns.
  • Students complete an online diagnostic test* and then begin sessions with a dedicated tutor.
  • In collaboration with the assigned tutor, the Education Manager creates a personalized learning plan tailored to the student’s needs.

Online Tutoring Sessions

  • Sessions are conducted using the Growing Stars audio-integrated whiteboard, enabling real-time interaction between the tutor and student.
  • Students use a computer-attachable writing tablet to work on the whiteboard, along with a headset to ensure clear and effective voice communication.
  • Tutors teach using the same textbooks and curriculum materials that students use in school, ensuring alignment with classroom learning.
  • Students can access homework assignments, instructional materials, tests, and lesson plans through our Student Portal.
  • Math students enrolled in our 8-hour per month programs also receive free, additional homework support.

Ongoing Communication with Parents

  • The Education Manager conducts periodic conferences with parents to review student progress and provide detailed feedback.
  • Through our Parent Portal, parents can access progress reports from the tutor or Student Success Manager, along with lesson plans and test results.
