Though this is an introductory course, students are expected to have basic computer and Internet navigation skills.

Course Description:
C# was introduced by Microsoft as a platform-independent, object-oriented language. It is a language designed to be fully compatible with Microsoft’s .Net initiative, while taking advantage of what has been learned from work in C, C++, and Java. C# is a simple and type-safe programming language that is based on the C and C++ family of languages. This programming language is fast and modern, and was designed to increase programmer productivity. C# enables programmers to quickly build a wide range of applications for the Microsoft .NET platform.

The course focuses on C# program structure, language syntax, and implementation details.

• Program control statements
• Classes, Objects and Methods
• Arrays
• Introduction to Windows programming
